Yeah, it is overkill in a way, have to hope the quality is ok!

I guess it's not bad. To me it seems overkill. It is nice to see a few companies making obscure cars though.

Elgon Locomotive Works also has a car: http://www.elginlocomotiveworks.com/
I am not pleased with their cost. $165 for one car seems a bit overkill. I may have to have a chat with some friends to see what we can do...
$165 is not so bad really.  Concept Model's HO kit is $150, less trucks, and needing assembly/clean-up/detailing/paint/Decals...

The Bachmann HO model is not a direct model of a specific car, but it runs $275 MSRP:

I'm sure it's beefed up, but seems they didn't design from new, just redesigned the last car.

HO modelers can get decent resin kits of these big Schnabel cars from Concept Models:

More or less. I am sure a lot of the strucutral members have also been beefed up to compensate for heavier loads as well. Not sure if this will be evident from a modeler's standpoint.

Thanks!  So from what I understand it's a larger copy of CEBX 800?
